今回のTOKYO SANDWICH CLUBのカプセルコレクションにはパリ出身のグラフィックデザイナー兼アーティストであるJean André氏とのコレクションとなります。彼はモンマルトルにタトゥースタジオを構えていてアートワークには”死や生”の表現と”愛”のテーマが中心に表現されています。過去にはBedwin 、So1 ギャラリーなどの共同開発や個展などを開催。また、フイナムガールズのロゴなど担当。 そんな彼とサンドイッチとコーヒーを通じてのコラボレーションが実現いたしました。
I’m a graphic designer and artist from pari s. I’ve build a tattoo studio in Montmartre where i draw tattoos with customers while my tattoo artists tattoo them. I like love themes as much as de ad or life representations. Mostly black lines tattoos, my signature is the hearttattoo that can be custom with any word or sentence tru it. Dead Mitch is my skeleton character, it was dead born in 2011 to deal with the dead of my grand father. I’ve two wonderful boys and I spend half of my time rising them with my wife. ive been to Japan few times and fell in love with the country, the people and the energy that Tokyo create. I’ ve made 3 exhibitions there, one in 2016, one in 2017 with Bedwin and one in 2019 at So1gallery. I’m a very fan of sandwiches and coffee shop so naturally I’ d love to work with TSC ! After getting few apparel that I wear everyday I decided myself to contact you to propose a collaboration. Of course my 2 most iconic designs, the hearttattoo and the Dead Mitch must be the designs I drew for you.
私はパリ出身のグラフィックデザイナー兼アーティストです。 モンマルトルにタトゥースタジオを造り、タトゥーアーティストがタトゥーを入れている間、顧客と一緒にタトゥーを描きます。 私は死や生の表現と同じくらい愛のテーマが好きです。 ほとんどが黒い線のタトゥーですが、私のシグネチャーはハートのタトゥーで、どんな単語や文でもカスタマイズできます。 デッドミッチは私のスケルトンキャラクターで、祖父の死を悼むために2011 年に生まれました。 私には素晴らしい男の子が 2 人いて、時間の半分を妻と一緒に育てています。日本には数回訪れましたが、日本という国、人々、そして東京が生み出すエネルギーに恋をしました。 そこでは3回の展示会を開催しました。1回目は2016 年、その次の２回目はBedwin で、2019 年にはSo1 ギャラリーで開催されました。 私はサンドイッチとコーヒーショップが大好きなので、TSC と一緒に働きたいと思っていました。 毎日着るアパレルをいくつか手に入れた後、コラボレーションを提案するためにTSCに連絡することにしました。 もちろん、私の最も象徴的な 2 つのデザイン、ハートタトゥーとデッド ミッチは、TSC のために描いたデザインです。
